Audience: The course is targeted to groundwater hydrologists and reservoir engineers interested in property modeling. Background knowledge on statistics and its application in geology is a plus. No pre-requisite is expected in geostatistics or reservoir modeling.
Where: University of Neuchâtel, Neuchâtel, Switzerland
Travel: Neuchâtel is well connected with direct trains from all major airports in Switzerland (Zürich, Geneva, Basel, Bern). Train connections from most places in Europe are also available: see cff.ch for the time tables.
Hotels and Housing: The simplest manner to find a hôtel in Neuchâtel is to use this web site. Student accommodations are also possible depending on availability. One should contact directly Alfen for this type of rooms.

The fees include the lunches, coffee breaks, and welcome dinner the first evening. Registration is confirmed only after payment of the fees.
Maximum number of participants: 25.
Cancellation policy: If cancellation is announced by email at least one month before the start of the course, the full fee will be reimbursed. If cancellation is announced between one month and two weeks before the start of the course, 50% of the fees will be reimbursed. If the cancellation is announced during the last two weeks, 20% will be reimbursed.
